AGENCY: Collective Architecture
YEAR: 2012
NEED: Signage, Environmental Graphics

A restaurant by celebrity chef, Bryan Voltaggio, Range changes the expectations of diners all around Washington, D.C. with an impressive food and bar program that has the nation looking. The constant attention to the restaurant needs an impeccable taste in architecture and experience. We worked with the architects to ensure that the signage and environmental graphics had the same appeal and taste to enhance their vision. We worked with their identity to design a series of custom restroom symbols, directional arrows, distraction banding and privacy films for the restaurant.

As any restaurant, the experience begins as you approach it so we developed a monumental identity wall with marble and dimensional letters out of chroma to welcome the guests to this culinary experience. The custom wall also includes the chef's name using inverted letters pin mounted and light casting the name in shadows onto the marble slab. A one of a kind piece for a one of a kind restaurant.
